Troy Cassar-Daley’s annual one-off Tamworth Country Music Festival show “Troy Cassar-Daley & Friends”, is always a highlight each time the festival rolls around and 2015 will be no different. Each year Troy asks some of his favourite artists to join him onstage to perform much loved songs and there are always some surprises…both in the lineup of artists and the songs!

This year Troy will have some very special guests from days gone by joining him at TRECC.

“I want to take everyone on a walk down memory lane with this show, included will be music I heard as a 12 year old kid when I first visited Tamworth’s country music festival.
Be prepared for some blasts from the past and some brand new songs.
Come and enjoy the music that inspired me and so many others”.

Troy Cassar-Daley’s career has spanned 8 solo studio albums over 20 years. Throughout this time Troy has been awarded numerous accolades including 4 ARIA Awards, 26 Golden Guitar Awards, 2 APRA Country Song of The Year Awards, 9 Deadlys and 4 CMAA Entertainer of The Year Awards. Troy has sold in excess of half a million albums and has received gold and platinum records throughout his stellar career.

Looking forward to 2015, Troy has been nominated for three CMAA Awards (Golden Guitars) to be announced on Saturday 24th January 2015 during the 43rd Tamworth Country Music Festival. Troy’s nominations are for – Vocal Collaboration of The Year “My Country My Land” with Dean Perrett, Toyota Heritage Song of The Year “My Country My Land” with Dean Perrett, and Instrumental of The Year “Old Hickory” with 8 Ball Aitken.
