At last Saturday evenings 38TH Country Music Awards Of Australia, the night belonged to TROY CASSAR-DALEY who walked away with a total of 6 Awards for his ARIA Award winning album, I Love this Place. The impressive win brings Troy’s cumulative total of “Golden Guitar” trophies to 20.

The country music singer/songwriter, who was a finalist in 8 Awards’ categories, seven voting categories and one for the Highest Selling Album - in total, won the following awards:

The 38th CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia will broadcast on CMC on Foxtel Digital and Austar from 7.00pm on Thursday, 11 February, 2010, followed by an encore screening on Southern Cross Television and Network Ten nationally on Saturday, 13 February, 2010, 1.30pm.

Never one to stop still, Troy and the band - including Troy’s bass player (also from Grafton); Luke Austen who won the 2010 Toyota Star Maker award at Tamworth, the same competition that launched Lee Kernaghan, Beccy Cole, Gina Jeffries & Keith Urban - are heading straight back out on the road, with a sell-out Tamworth Jayco Country Theatre and the 6 Golden Guitars loaded up, Troy and the band are heading south to play for his many Victorian fans at the following venues.
